I am currently a high school French teacher in Northeastern Connecticut. I will be leaving my teaching position after this year and hope to put my language skills to use for a volunteer organization. I have done extensive travel through French and Spanish-speaking nations and look forward to potential opportunities to work abroad.

I live in Costa Rica. Went to school to become a land scaping architect, right now I'm just doing some landscaping studies; I believe that healthy ecosystems and environments provide vital goods and services to humans, and the ways of living more sustainably can take many forms from reorganising living conditions (ecovillages, eco-minicipalities and sustainable cities). Moving towards sustainability is also a social challenge that entails, international and national law, Urban planning and transport. Therefore I would like to volunteer in order to learn more from the Professionals and be able to share the little that I know.

I translate documents from French, German and/or Italian to English, specializing in educational, legal, medical, human rights, international development, social science, humanities, legal and medical documents. I have studied in France, traveled in Germany, and hold a degree in a world-languages, as well as a graduate degree in biblical studies. I have taught English and social studies for the past sixteen years in a variety of secondary schools.
