Archana Das
I am an Electrical Engineer, built my career in software industry. In my 9 years professional experience, I have gained extensive experience in all aspects of software engineering. I had the opportunity to perform various activities like gathering requirements, converting business requirement into system requirement, designing and developing the IT systems, developing data models and providing good database solutions, documentation and QA (including testing, configuration management and release management) activities for big projects. Being involved with the IT industry gave me exposure and insight into the management and operational issues. In my varied experiences, I had worked with MNCs and National Companies. During my previous assignments, I had worked as a software support person and resolved user’s technical issues within SLA and received good customer feedback. I also worked in the capacity of a consultant in Government and NGO sectors. I have hands on experience in designing and developing client model IT systems using Oracle Developer and VB as front end and databases such as Oracle and Sql server as back end. Currently I am acquiring knowledge in web technologies like HTML, PHP, Wordpress, Dream weaver etc. I am self-motivated and enjoy working in a team environment. I am passionate working in human development sector . I have experience in working multi culture environments and associated with clients in different parts of the world. I am currently looking for a voluntary IT position (part time) and enhance my knowledge in Web technologies.

Young Graduate student, with a Master Degree in Social and Solidarity Economics in France, I had a first experience with the UN, during an Internship at UNISDR in 2012. I want to pursue this experience helping in the organisation of the Global Platform in May 2013. I seek with this volunteering to bring my knowledge and competences for the organisation of UN's conferences. This ICV will be an opportunity for me to meet international organisation and NGO, as my professional project is to work on the field of International Relation.
